I doubt it will make any difference at all - just like the r dot com domains.

The vast majority of people will type in TallahasseeRealEstate.com - mistaking the Tallahassee.RealEstate name...sending unknowing consumers to the owner of the .com domain!

I'll stick with the dot coms. NAR should have better things to do than worry about selling domains, and their claims that this will help real estate professionals and businesses better connect with buyers, sellers, investors, and owners is just bs. Mendenhall should resign if this is an example of something that she claims is good for members.

I'm with Lyn Sims on this one. I doubt that the .RealEstate TLD will have any great impact, I was a MAJOR domain hoarder - had 75+ at one time and just stopped renewing them one-by-one. Now, it's time to start over and grab a new domain eventually - time will tell.

I'm not sure Fred if it makes any difference anymore from a marketing perspective. I think the critical focus is how to consistently market your domain(s) name regardless of the domain 'dot' whatever. And how you create opportunistic domains for specific purposes such as unique property sites or communities.
