In the past I looked at it when I was looking for certain products. I like the idea of it, and sometimes I visit it, but haven't been there for a while. And reading other members posts, it seems it's not working.

A functioning product review section would be a HUGE asset (the existing non-function one is a time hole) and present opportunity for Ben to pursue advertising opportunities from competitors selling shiny things to real estate agents.

However, a review, to be of any value must have something more that 'GREAT PRODUCT' as the text. On ACTIVE RAIN is a long sustained tradition of providing no content.

A review should include:

Association to product (affiliate marketing where reviewer does receive compensation beyond the  annual Christmas card. I once received a case of Moroccan Mint tea from Honest tea. WaaaHoo!)

Product and model name and version if applicable

Date of review

Background of reviewer writer. (i.e. techy type, consumer type, reciprocal review. Example: real estate afent who has used as many as 10 CRMs during my real estate expereince.)

Test methodology

Objective outcome

Subjective opinion of product price, quality, support and delivery.

Links to discounts (affiliate marketing is not a bad thing)
