I would put the snow picture up, and if I was able to take photos in a different season would use those as well. I think snow could look beautiful with sun shining on it, so pick a non-bleak day for photos!

A front elevation photo must be the first photo entered into the MLS - regardless of the weather, the professional photographer I hire will take the photo and it will reflect the current season.  I would never re-use another agent's photo since as the listing agent, I want to own all rights to my photos for all marketing purposes.

IF I dealt with snow I would definitely go with it ... and I would incorporate non-snow photos as well if the seller has any available.

It is what it is.  Anyone moving there or already living there will know ... it snows!

I like showing both Peter Testa .  It's good to have a "current" picture even if it's snowy but people also like to see the yard and possibly the condition of the driveway and sidewalk.

Here in Charlotte I don't do snow pictures. But if seasons change from the time I list a propert until I sell it, I have the exterior photos reshot to match the current season.

we go with whatever the scene is when we list it.... snow... heat of the summer with brown grass.... fall with bare trees and no colorful accents of flowers.... we show it as it is....

I'm not going to wait for the weather to improve.  If there's snow outside, when the photographer is scheduled... then snow it will be.

It's just important to make sure that when the season changes, and spring has sprung, time to update the photos.  There's nothing worse than a snow picture in July.  Well, there probably IS something worse... but it's pretty bad.

A summer floral garden house image is pretty but when it is January and you list, twist, market in a snow state, it can look dated too. "The place has been on the market since last spring/summer Martha..." is heard whispered by buyers out in the wild blue yonder. Snow images when it is the 4th of july don't cut it though. Change up and rotate whatever you use too for the new and different pick me pick me.

Whatever the season, is what will be shown... if it's still on the market, when the season changes, the photo will be changed... I've seen some snow photos that I felt actually helped to sell the property...

When you have 3 feet of snow covering a building, it is hard to get any perspective of what the yard looks like, and how the home looks most of the year.  I vote to include a summer photo if possible.

Whatever the season is, my photos reflect that! If I'm lucky enough to get snow pictures during the winter, I'm elated! The ones that I hate the most are the late fall/early winter shots - barren trees are just not appealing to me!

I go with the snow or whatever is current outside. Otherwise it looks like it's been on the market for a long time.   I will go and redo the outside photos if the house is still on the market come spring or summer.  You can ask the owner if they have summer photo's to include if the yard is a beautiful one.

I use seasonal current exterior pics.  If a summer pic is posted in the winter, a buyer will assume it's been on the market since the summer....  Anyone looking to buy in the Northeast knows that the property will come with snow...

I have had photos taken for future listings...asking the seller when the house looks the best. Get it photographed at its peak and then use a couple of shots when it actually goes on the market. Every season is the time to sell. Not every season shows the house at it's best.
