I can see the playing of golf helping to improve your business as you are with others but watching golf? 

I started practicing at the driving range when I was pretty young. Never really thought about my short game. Played at courses here & there. When I worked corporate our company president had us play at his CC & I actually did OK. 

It's not how I spend my time but who am I to say? 

That would be like watching Breaking Bad to improve ones meth cooking skills.

Golf for me is not relaxing. I am too competitive an dcan get frustrated easily when the ball on it's own takes a sharp right into the pond

If you are taking time to recharge your batteries, you can make a case!

Well, maybe there are some strategies that can be used in real estate but I just couldn't ever get into watching golf. There was only one time I took a lesson from a friend, and the sport just didn't interest me. I do play mini golf but just if someone else wants to; I don't particularly care for it.

Better to take out the frustrations on the little white ball than a client or another agent!

If you are playing golf, you are meeting people. So yes, go ahead and play golf.  If you are watching on tv, not sure whether it improves your business.  I guess if it makes you happy, why not.

I can see where playing golf would be, if you socialize after you finish playing.... the 19th hole works well for many....

I think there are business lessons to be learned from the game of golf... probably more from playing than watching. Plus, I did a lot of business with my golfing contacts. I've actually written a blog or two about it.

I can see it helping people's business. I am not a great golfer, so I can't say I am the best candidate.

Reasonable business expense... relaxing activity.  And, if it brings business, an added bonus.  Oh, short answer, yes.

It sounds like golf could be right thing to do for ANY business.

Watching golf from the comfort of one sofa is a complete waste of time. But we all celebrated Tigers 'comeback' and felt good because of it. After all, we still have the image of Wilma's tantrum fresh in our mind.

I am not - I don't play nor do I watch - to me it's the most boring of sports in existence LOL

I have not golfed for 7 years Peter Mohylsky and I was a scratch golfer. I lost my equipment in our flood and even though I purchased clubs shortly after wards I just totally lost interest. People always wanted to play me to beat me, not sure I ever remember anyone who had outside of my close personal friends. Those same people were usually sore losers so I just stuck with a few select friends.

Went to Pebble Beach saw homes there are more affordable than Silicon Valley.    Do you know the HOA due is $29/ month covering trash, road maintenance..... Tourists are paying for most of the expense....
