The RIGHT CHARLOTTE REALTOR!

We have 4 seasons and the greenest, most beautiful city on the planet, Fred! I hear that all of the time from those relocating from other areas. AND, we're 2.5 hours from the mountains AND the beaches!

The funniest thing I had happen was one windy but, beautiful fall day a few years ago, I had Los Angeles relocation clients in my car. The leaves were falling all around us as we drove.

The buyer (wife) asked, "Do you mind stopping the car? I've never seen this in my life - I just want to jump out and take this all in!" She stood outside the car with her arms extended, looking up at the sky as if to catch raindrops. When she got back in the car, she said, "I'm so used to concrete - these trees are magnificent - it's literally raining leaves!!"

Sure... great four season weather with short and salubrious winters. This was a major reason why we selected Charlotte as a place to live... I wanted four seasons but no long or very cold winters.

Arizona is a destination in more than one way. In Phoenix Scottsdale, it is estimated that close to 850,000 people converges yearly to the area for the winter.... In other aspects, it is also a destination for corporate America - for example State Farm moved their headquarter from Bloomington IL to Tempe, AZ, roughly 3,000 people. It's also a retirement destination.

Reasons would be quality of life, weather, low traffic congestion, low property taxes, affordability, lifestyle, and great medical care.

We have 4 seasons but they are all generally mild. Winter gets enough snow on the ground in the valley to enjoy it but then it melts. If you still want snow or skiing it is a short drive without the obligation of shoveling your own driveway. Summers get hot but not unbearable and spring and fall are beautiful. Also no big natural disasters to be too concerned about.-Kasey

Our town is a good choice because of the T to Boston... and far enough away from the city to not be exposed to the crime and gangs that exist there.... our seasons are all extremes... winter is tough...summer is hot... spring is pollen filled.... fall is a pain in the ass with leaf clean up....  and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Absolutely yes.  We have seasons here and an occassional dusting of snow.  In my life in this area we've had 8 inches once and 24 once. But our winters are generally mild.  We also have the lake (waterfront properties) without the fear of hurricanes for the most part.  So overall we have great weather and it is a draw for retirees for sure.
