Not out and about today, but I did have the honor of welcoming another vet into our warming shelter last night. 

Very intoxicated and upset about his homelife, but happy to find a place with a warm bed, food and kindness served in abundance.

     Today, as I was entering a restaurant with my wife, a couple of people shook my hand and thanked me for serving (I was wearing the shirt from my Air Force uniform, and a hat with "United States Air Force Veteran" embroidered on it, and my dog tags hanging outside the shirt).

I participated in a Ruck a little over six miles for the Travis Manion Foundation in remembrance of a Marine that graduated two years behind me from my high school. His mother met us at the cemetery and was very honored we did this for him today. After the Ruck we took about 200 coats to the Wayside Christian Mission homeless shelter. I then had a late lunch and saw a couple of Veteran friends incot to catch up with. So in total today I saw two Vietnam Vets and a WWII Vet

I didn't shake any hands, but did attend Veteran's day parade in Brunswick MD and photographed several veteran's that were participating, and also went inside American Legion and made a donantion and photographed the veteran/memorial displays they had set up. I posted some of the photos in a Vietnam veteran facebook group that has 40,000 members. I did thank some of them for their service.

I did shake a few hands today.  Vets are recognized at our church.  I always thank vets for their service when going out.  I encounter a lot that wear caps or jackets with Vietnam or other on them.  Facebook too many to count.
