I just switched over to Bright. They shut off my access to MRIS amd Matrix. Part of a big merger that has been in the works. Some of the changes are: we can leave a property " Temp Off" for as long as we want. And new statuses are " Active under Contract" and " Pending", and "Sold" is now " Closed"

YES. Haha, yasss to all. When I first started we had FlexMLS. Innovia from 06 to 18. As of this summer we have Matrix. I like Matrix. Matrix has an attractive interface and is somewhat intuitive. It has a couple of stupid things, but it's an improvement over what we had before except in the areas where it's not. Clear as mud?

In NH we changed from Innovia to Paragon. It is like going back to 1982. It is horrible and a down grade in my opinion. We lost most of our search features such as we can not even search by type of house i.e colonial, cape or with mutis can not search for just a 2 family without all coming up

In CT we got a new provider when they consolidated MLS's. We now use Matrix. I like it. It is a better system than what we had & it was an easy transition; the layout is all very intuitive.

Flex. Realtors Assn of the Palm Beaches had this and we had no choice. When they merged with Fort Lauderdale, we had the option to go with Matrix, but I'm all set up on Flex and it works for me.

It is mandated by NAR. Ours was changed by no choice at least 3-4 years ago.
I asked many questions most had nothing to do with our local pratice. Ours MLSLISTINGs.com supposedly the oldest system in the US.
Terms are standardized. A realtor gets used one has no trouble using another system. Also we have all associations within CA state merged.

All I can say it that ours, BrightMLS, is anything but bright! We're undergoing a nasty transition from MRIS to Bright. Bright is not a terrible system, but the training was pathetic, and they are seeing huge wait times on their equally lame tech support - although the people they hired are great helpers. Just way too few of them.
