We have a LOT of celebrities that live out here.  We also have the Kardassians.  We used to have Bieber.  My buddy's kid goes to school with the child of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards.  Mel Gibson is out this way too, as is Cher and Zsa-Zsa Gabor (when she was alive).  David "Don't Hassle The Hoff" lives or lived out here too.

Then you have the lesser celebrities, such as winners of cooking shows and such that live out here.  Some Top Chefs, Cupcake Wars winners, etc.

Edit: How could I forget Joe Walsh, Nikki Sixx and Billy Bob Thornton (who is very undervalued as a singer BTW).  And Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (Jay & Silent Bob).

Not so much in real estate out here, but years in the entertainment industry I more than stumbled into quite a few of them. As a very young DJ, sitting after my shift at 1AM on the terrace at a nightclub in Palm Springs, N Palm Canyon Dr completely without vehicles. Baby blue Ford pulled up, Bob Hope got out with his dog, said good-evening and walked his dog up and down the street, got into his car and left. He did that all the time because nobody bothered him.
Then the time that Cameron Mitchell got mad at me during a live remote and demanded that I be fired. The station owner told him to cut a trail. LOL old time stars back in the day ran things and were very curmudgeonly.
BUT the coolest experience that I had and it was something that shaped my life seriously, was when I went to radio school and Art Hannes, who was the voice of CBS (HUGE, the kind of gig we all dreamed of), noticed I had a red toothbrush sticking out of the pocket of my jeans. He stopped me, and asked me why I had a toothbrush in my pants pocket. I told him I drove in an hour each way, and had just come back from lunch and wanted to brush my teeth. LOL he then reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a red toothbrush.

He told me no matter who we are or how far we come in life, we still all have to brush our teeth. ❤❤❤

I have not Ricardo Mello .  I do remenber a story of my uncle meeting Dolly Pardon about 30 years ago and she introduced herself to him and he had no clue who she was even after the introduction.

Yes, many years ago checking into the Riviera in Vegas. The lady in front of me was Joan Rivers.

Yes, Many Many, all that Ryan Huggins - Thousand Oaks, CA listed plus many more, like Zubin Mehta, OJ Simpson, Walter Mathau, Fred Astaire, Gregory Peck, Betty White (we see each other often), Robert Redford, Paul Newman, ZZtop, Sting...etc  A

Did several business deals with many, but signed a confidentiality agreement.  The only one we can talk about is John Candy RIP.  A

When I worked in Manhattan I saw celebrities from time to time. To name a few- Keanu Reeves, Eddie Murphy, Howard Stern, Metallica's James Hetfield, Musician Henry Rollins, KRS1, Kenny Rogers, Joan Rivers, Geraldo Rivera, then Governor of NY Mario Cuomo and I have gone past the Law & Order set while they were shooting.  

Michael Jackson pulled up in a limo early in the dawn hours in Las Vegas, saw me and my brother and friend having a laughing good time and just walked over and joined us. We didn't even mention or notice him either. He also used to ride the rides at Disneyland when I worked there. Ran into Tom Hanks..decent fellow and Charlie Sheen and his dad too. Few others as well

I haven't met any but have seen a few.  I saw Michael Douglas in Seattle when he was filming, and in the Las Vegas airport, waved at the talkative one of Penn and Teller!

Lots and lots of them.  I used to work in the film industry in Hollywood.  Leave them alone!  Yes, they like to be recognized, but they can hardly make it through their dinner without somebody wanting their autograph.  I, on occasion, worked with some old timers and they had great stories.

I am 100% certain it would not be anything I would be impressed by or want to talk about.  I am just not impressed.  

Although I am not graceful, I can't recall ever stumbling into a celebrity but as a native Californian I have seen real celebrities and those who exist in their mind only. I saw some Capital Hill "ccelebrities" when I lived in Washington,  DC too. They walk among us!

I have seen a few around (since I grew up in LA County) and have a few classmates that got into the industry. My parents have a few celebrity acquaintances as well.

     In 1981 or '82 I was living south of the football stadium while attending FSU.  My neighbor across the street was the late Pat Ramsey.  He played harmonica with Johnny Winter, the Allman Brothers, et al.  Pat is in the Blues Hall of Fame.     

     One afternoon Pat saw me in my front yard, he invited me into his house to meet some people.  Those people were Dickey Betts and Butch Trucks!  They were planning a reunion tour or something and were talking to Pat about joining them.  We had a couple of beers... it was very cool!

Yes, I worked with a couple Hollywood & Music Industry types so far and bumped into Joe Walsh of The Eagles here in San Diego. I've also met Brian Buffini, Jack Canfield, Dr. Ivan Misner (BNI) and Michael E. Gerber all here in San Diego.

Used to do a lot of business travel so occasionally would encounter famous folks.  Joe Torre and Fergie the Duchess of York in airport lounges.  Oscar Robinson on a plane.  James Carville in an airport. 

A Bob Hope show was filmed at Annapolis, so we had Bob Hope, Brooke Shields, Bernadette Peters, Roger Staubach, James Coburn and others.

But the closest was Ronald Reagan.  He was supposed to just shake hands with the top 100 grads of my Annapolis class in 1985 (which would have left me out), but he kept going until the entire class of over 1000 had graduated and he's shook hands with all of us.  Bill

Was having dinner at Fudruckers just last week & someone walked up to my significant other & said 'Great job, love the show, keep up the good work man!'  We had no idea what he was talking about - I guess he's a celebrity.

I don't remember actually stumbling into a celebrity. I did see James Gandolfini in restaurant row in NYC years ago but he was just another person zipping into a restaurant to have dinner. Celebrities are just people who happen to be in a career that puts them in the spotlight.

Athletes & coaches mostly in my area. I did run into several on the streets of NYC when we visited there last year though. Not a big deal to me though - I'm not the least bit star-stuck!

Here in NH stars are fewer than CA, NY or South Beach. But I see on a reguar basis Adam Sandler who comes back to visit family. Steven Tyler who lives here. Jimmy Fallon who has a lake house here.

No stumbling, but I did used to see Woody Allen, Jackie Onassis, Bernadette Peters,  Robert Redford and a few others regularly on the streets in NYC as we all lived within a few blocks of each other in Carnegie Hill. I'd see Joan Rivers at the bar at the Carlyle Hotel, as well, from time to time. Stayed at the same hotel as Andre Agassi in Buenos Aires back in 1988.

I don't think I have run into too many (randomly). I have seen many celebs at events and stuff like that. My best recollection is running into Jerry Springer (LOL) and Dr. J (Basketball Player).

My wife ran into Johnny Chan (the poker player) once in Vegas.

I road the like ride at Knotts Berry Farm when I was 15.  It was hot and my friend and I splashed water on ourselves and the people in front of us.  When we got off, I found out one of those people was Tatum O'Neil (age 13).  Surprise, surprise!

I worked in radio, so I ran into, and talked on the phone, with quite a few over the years.  However, a celebrity encounter that I had that I didn't realize until they had walked away were Magic Johnson and his wife, who found me crying in a hall of LAX airport and offered me a ride to my friend's house.  They could not have been nicer.  I just kept thinking, "This man is so tall," while they were calming me down.  (I was 19, just arrived in LA and my friend wasn't there to pick me up and I had no clue where she lived. )  

The funny part of that story to me now, is when I shared with my 13 y/o niece, she asked, "Why didn't you just call your friend with your cell phone?"  Life was a lot different before cell phones. 

Yes - Benny Hill - outside a theatre in London. Literally!! 

If you live in LA chances of meeting entertainers in public place is great. My sister met a homeless who walked into a library looking at the movies they filmed and told her the story and her role. 

I walked into an Asian market and saw Zukerberg and his daughter Maxim inside a cart looking at Dim Sim not long ago.

My aunt was a restaurateur in NYC she mentioned all these famous actors and Broadway actors what food they liked.

I was sitting outside at a bar on a warm sunny night in Seattle when Connan Obrian walked up the street. I recognized him as someone I knew and nodded to him, then he nodded back before I realized who he was. He was instantly surrounded by autograph seekers. 

I run into local sports celebraties from time to time. I sold a former Seahawk a truck, another a furnace and showed a backup quaterback a rental.

I met Buddy Hackett and Don Henley at a golf course where I worked. Buddy had the foulest mouth and Don was a very nice person who asked someone for a chew. That's it, no feigned excitement or screaming fans asking for autographs, just two golfers out for the day.
