YES x 8.
Never fast food. We have wonderful bistros and gastropubs. 3 faves are owned by clients. And if it's a VIP, a more upscale place. Every one of our casinos has fine dining.
Going tomorrow with two Brokers, celebrating a birthday. Business will be discussed. 🍷

Not often since driving in L.A. can take a huge chunk of a day, and.... never fast food and rarely upscale since it is the most time consuming. A coffee shop is a convenient choice or organic/farmers spot.

I like to meet people for lunch... most of the time small restaurants in the neighborhood. Not a big fan of fast food and coffe shops since you can't really sit down and have a proper chat.

Frequently. Typically the nearest place with a water view not requiring reservations. I try to stay away from 'formal' restaurants because they tend to result in unnecessarily long meet ups.

Fast food - never.

Franchise - like china made shoes, they are hard to avoid.

Most of my business lunches are with builder/developers Fred Griffin . If I lived near any other active Active Rainers I'd enjoy a lunch on occassion. I'd probably go broke if I lived in NC (although it doesn't appear my BARFF eats much).

Yes, Fred. I'm a big believer in breaking bread with my sphere. I love going to new restaurants and sharing that experience with someone from my sphere.

I rarely go franchise and definitely not fast food. Some just want to grab coffee instead and some prefer meeting for wine. In those cases, local coffee houses or wine shops - no franchises.

I meet with my lawyer's team at least once per week for lunch, sometimes up to three.  Plus Sunday Night Football and maybe even a Thursday game.  We also hit up the range sometimes.

Full disclosure: I've been friends with my lawyer and her husband for 20 years or so now (Yikes, I'm old!).  Long before they were in real estate.

Fred yes and I've been doing so for many years.  Never a fast food place - don't like those places and even if I did it doesn't speak business lunch to me. As for what type of lunch, well that depends - some are on the higher end but most are cool 'local' places that everybody loves here in Phoenix.  I know my folks so I typically know what they'd prefer. And I will also ask them if they have a preference if I don't know them well - which has been fun too!

It really depends on the situation e.g. when driving around, it could be a sandwich deli; if it's to celebrate a closing, it would be a nice restaurant, preferably lunch.
