I tried embedding the code. That did not save or work at all. I had to put it in the source url but that is only making a blank box pop up once it’s posted.

The only way I know to do it and make it work is to do as many others have stated. Use the embed code - make sure you are in the html editor when you add it.

It all depends on where are you posting. Sometimes you just have to copy the youtube link and it's fine. On other websites you have to embed the video. Instead of copying the link, copy the embed code. That should solve your problem.
