An old-fashioned, very low-tech "to do" list.  It can be written or by recollection.  Whatever works for you and the one that you will follow is best in my opinion.

Time-blocking - I HAD to! I was a hot mess, working from 10 lists and finally went to time-blocking and can't imagine life without it now!

Time blocking is effective, but it takes discipline and a good assistant.

I don't believe you can "manage" time... you can only manage yourself. Manage yourself and time will not be an issue.

I used to over extend myself and finally learned that sometimes I have to say no. Time management really isn't a problem but time blocking has never worked for me. As long as I have my calendar and to-do list in my hand, I set my priorities then adapt and adjust my schedule as needed.

I don't have a problem with time management, but I have a problem with over-commitment. I have to be VERY disciplined in the projects I take on, because I have unrealistic expectations about what I can get accomplished. It took me years to get this through my thick head. I am a fan of the Getting Things Done method, a calendar, and a daily to-do. I have tried electronic, but I prefer paper.

Sister Chronos here.♑ No, I handle my schedule with enough gaps that I am not overwhelmed. The big mistake is filling up your time too much that you're late all the time. I will not overbook, and if somebody tries to make me, I will refuse. That way whatever comes up, I have time to handle it.

I really don't have a problem. I have the same 24 hours as everyone else, and I just manage that time the best I can. I do a lot of planning and organizing so am usually in head of any problems that might arise.

Make the list before the nightly head layed in the bed. Prioritize what needs doing now... what is on the list heading north or south or west. Heading east is not a list for me because I am less than two miles from the the New Brunswick Canada border and can't practice real estate list, twist, sell (repeat) over there eh? Check off the "along the way" remembering to do this, this and that when heading in that direction coming or going back to the office beehive. Squeezing more time out of the minutes and seconds we all have means efficiency of the tick tick tock. Make it a game. Real estate is a sport.

I suggest doing a two week timne study of yourself first. Second if you need digital help try the app Pomodoro Pro. I set 4 Pomodoros with 25 minute time limits and I am monitored. When you set those limits your work goes faster.
