Thanks, Julio. There are any number of various safety devices out there. The best "device" at the end of the day is being aware, being careful in the first place.

Nice to post this as we've just had someone tased an agent at an open house. Maybe could have helped.

Homesnap has a safety feature as well that will call the person(s) you set up to received a message to call 911 and it gives the location of the agent. 

my apple watch has that feature without me buying anything additionally.  it can be voice or touch command.  Also radpid depression of an iPhone on off switch 5 times will give you a one touch acess to calling 911 and reporting your location as well.  I also am well trained in firearms and self defense (married to a law enforcement officer who has trained others in both for a living)  So I'm very confident in my safety and yet still very smart in where I meet and how I handle myself with the public.

Sounds like a good device, I hope that many protect themselves with this.

I prefer security devices made by Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Louisville Slugger, etc.

Everyone should have a plan they feel comfortable with, regardless of what it is!

That's interesting with the voice feature.  Texting people though isn't an effective method.  Some 911 centers have text capability now (I know the Sheriff's Departments out here do).  That would be better.

People who threaten with a gun are dangerous in general. We are supposed to pray that we be delivered from all this. If and when these scenarios are delivered into our hands to deal with as we please, let us be found capable of doing so.....I am for not hurting anyone and helping where I can but if threatened or I have to help someone who is... I am prepared to go all the way whatever that is...God help us all
