I see great value in responding - if it's real and the high end of the range is something that would make you sell, great. If it's a scam, it's a teachable moment for your peeps!

If it's an email, it's likely to be deleted.  If sent by mail, it would be found in the circular file.  A phone call would lead to that number being blocked at minimum.

No, it goes directly to the junk box. Any serious buyer would call and send on proper paperwork. Funny thing, I get mail on a regular basis, people or so call companies wanting to buy my mother's home on another city. It goes straight to the shredder, too busy for junk mail or email.

We see variable range pricing here in San Diego all the time and have for years...not sure how well it actually works and it confuses buyers. Never saw it for an offer. Guess you could respond and see what happens - perhaps buyer and seller can reach agreement.
