I could care less. I had a sip (and I mean a sip) of beer when I was 17 and hated it enough never to have had another sip since (and we are talking some 33+ years now). They can tell me wine or other alcohol is also good for me... and it would make no difference. I essentially stopped drinking alcohol at least 15 years ago except for the occasional glass of champagne.

Beer-drinking isn't one of the "skills" I have mastered. I am also not a good student in that field.

I enjoy a beer a week John Juarez . If I have a 2nd one I need to increase my dieting effort.

Working into every evening this spring, hinders the ability to "take a break". Although a good tiki bar would be a nice fit right now.

Being a former nurse, I knew, John! the two things that I was always taught - keeping kidney stones at-bay as well as preventing urinary tract infection (1 per day is better then cranberry juice, which everyone thinks is best for you).

Also, it serves as an anti-inflammatory (benefits post-op patients, patients with heart disease and arthritic disease). Again, only 1 per day - moderation, moderation, moderation!

I can tell you that if I didn't like beer and I had kidney stones or painful arthritis, I would hold my nose and drink a beer each day if I knew it would help! It's better than taking medication for what ails you!

I'm more of a wine guy.

Just like eating a slice of bread. I just can't grasp the thought of putting a forkful of tuna fish salad in a glass of beer though!

Love Kona Longboard!  I may have to go to the store now and buy a 6 pack or a 12 pack lol!

Well I guess I should be drinking coors light now.

I've seen quite a few studies about this over the years.  Guinness is actually prescribed for some people, including pregnant women, because of it's high iron content.  I know people who've reversed low iron counts just by drinking a pint a day.

Whiskey also has many positive effects too, according to the distilleries I was at last month.

I do not believe everything I read or hear.  In most cases, the underlying messages are sell, sell, sell. People believe what they want to believe.
