Yes, it's not only referral services for real estate agents but also for plumbers, electricians, roofers, etc. Seems to be an easy way to make a living at the expense of those who are actually doing the work. Sad thing is that many of those that are the "preferred" providers actually pay for the privilege, a double whammy!

I signed up to receive updates from a major business that was relevant for me to do so and shortly thereafter received several texts from different numbers with messages for me to consider for purchasing. Then, out of the blue, my own iphone went live all by itself and was like a radio with a short commercial saying: to know more hit 2 now.....I contacted the business and told them either you have too aggressive marketing or a virus. Contact your IT guy and protect credit card data. They thanked me....The iphone thing made think if they can send...can they recieve too?
