Thanks for letting us know.  Amazing how even the most well intentioned laws that people can come up with (not saying this was one of them, mind you), can have far reaching and dire consequences.

Obviously this was done for the lender & investor. I don't do many VA loans in my area. Nothing they can do about the older paper but after that date I guess they can put a rule into effect. Again, it's just for the banks benefit.

Anything government touches turns into a mess it seems. The post office, health care, Fannie, Freddie and now Ginnie

A law was passed to fix a problem. Beware of unintended consequences! The entirety of the situation was not investigated and more problems were created by this "fix".
