With some success, not each time, I am able to post when I change browsers. Good luck.

The word round town is that you have to use a different browser to post, apparently Google Chrome doesn't work so well anymore. People here said they liked Firefox. I have posted to AR using Chrome but with much pain, writhing & the gnashing of teeth.

There is some issue, likely Chrome doesn't like something in Active Rain's code or doesn't properly render it since a Chrome update. Best bet is to ditch the browser that reports on your activities to Big Brother Google and go with Firefox or even Brave.

I use Chrome and have not had any issues (knock on wood). One thing is never check the box "listing" when posting a blog as it will cause errors all day every day no matter the browser.

Just yesterday I ran CC and found 4442 trackers and 9074 junk links on my puter. And I always configure my browser to not allow trackers.
Clean your puter, clear the cache and purge the cookies (in each browser) power down and start over.
Next, use Firefox and create the blog text in Notepad NOT MSWORD and see if that doesn't work.
My experience has been publishing blogs on AR is nearly as enjoyable as a 'stick-in=the-eye.' Then every few days you need to purge the blog of the escort girls. I have not published for over a year. I may not be the best resource for making AR blogging work, but I am a good resource for keeping those puters running lean and mean.

That message sounds like you are trying to post a listing. You cannot post listings under the 'listing' category in the back-end.
If it's not that, re-boot or change browsers. Good luck, Phillip!

I don't know why you waited this long to say something?
There are no error codes here, it either publishes because of the boxes checked or not.
Some things sounds what many have been having a problem with in Chrome. Normally I would blame AR but in this case I don't think it is. I would be sure Chrome is updated or un-install & reinstall.

Good Morning Tom, The suggestion to clear my cache and browsing history seems to have done the trick, besides using Firefox and then I was able to post several columns, but then it happened again. At least I was successful yesterday and I will try again today to post the balance of my articles from August and Sept.

I am sorry this is happening to you. I feel your frustration.
I rarely post on AR these days. Doing so is a royal PITA. Each time I attempt to post I am quickly reminded of how challenging and time consuming it is to do so. I find myself saying, this is a totally unproductive use of my time.

Try a different browser. That seems to be the solution that others have used successfully.
