Yes.  ShowingTime is popular in our area... I can make appointments on their cell phone app, and I can respond to cell phone requests with a "Y" (yes), or "N" (nyet!).

It's convenient, and keeps records of all showings and their contact information.

Over the years, I have seen attempts at using all sorts of things that are suppose to make life easier and/or more efficient but it is not something that has "caught one" here.  Yet.

We've been doing this for years and years... first with Centralized Showing Time and now with Showing Time for the past several years. Makes life so much easier both to set appointments for buyers and sellers.

Showingtime is new to me Jeff Dowler, CRS and was not in the area when I retired last November but there was a question here in the Q&A very recently. Sounds like a good thing to me.

We do not have ShowingTime or anything like it in our area.

I'm in two MLS organizations, one uses it  the other does not.  I get calls from the one regularly, but I always reply on line vs. pressing 1.  I generally want to give them a message of some sort and the site allows that. (like a specific location of lockbox, please leave a card etc.)   I don't really like it because I prefer a direct communication with the agent, but adapt and change has always been what this business is about.

It is standard feature here and if the listing agent is declining for an active listing should give a reason!

In the higher end here, the listing agent is called and shows up.  The LA calls the estate manager to open the place if seller is out of town, which includes gates, etc.  This is a security precaution...One home I visited  took an hour to get ready, before viewing.  A

Our MLS provides the software for us to use but it is not widely used by agents in our county.

Yes we've been using showing time for a number of years now. I love it. I have all the BA's info up front before a showing. Easy to track too. Many agents resisted it at first and some still refuse to use it.  For me, it's another tool that has been very effective.

Yes, we use it 99% of the time. Listing agents can select to be notified when the sellers are notified and yes, it is an automated message. You and the sellers are given the opportunity to confirm or decline as you mentioned.

I love showing time.

No, we're (thankfully) still a "talk to the other person" area.  The local help u sell uses it, but he's the only one and it's not well liked out here.  If it did come here, it is not a service I would subscribe to or use.  I can't find out how motivated the buyers are, or if it's a buying trip or a looking trip from an automated system.  Likewise as a buyer's agent, I can't get a feel for the level of activity and offers from a machine.

As recent as yesterday and agent called to confirm a showing appointment 2 hours ahead. No such appointment and been made. "I scheduled it in ShoingTime" was the response.

The good news is a gate code and CBS code protected my seller from those dingbat agents who are unaware of the many ways things can go wrong when they are too lazy to make a phone call.

It is every agents choice to be a ding-bat or protect their clients. Deferring your responsibilities to ShowingTime suggests to me the choice made. The good news is, this service is another step closer to reducing the agent to an order taker manning a drive through window.

We have this option for every listing, but many agents opt out, especially if the property is occupied, they want to know who is coming with you. 

Yes, we've been using it for awhile now. I configure it to just text & email me. Makes it easier to screnshot it & text the client the request. It also keeps a record of all showings for me in the app.
