Gene, there are many different methods and each person should figure out their best method and work it hard. You can't do everything. When I first started I reached out to my sphere (as everyone should) and I did get business from there. I also held open houses. I built a portion of my business from there. Lastly, I work Internet leads. They were better 12 years ago because not many agents were doing that. Now, 12 years later, 75-80% of my business comes from my sphere and referrals. I do get some business from FB and other Internet sources such as people finding me in a Google search. I also receive a fair portion of agent referrals. This is for buyers and sellers.
