$100/mo will get you a decent RE website - lots of venders., Z57, Point2Agent, HouseHunt,  H&H and many many more.

And this is a point driven system - if folks take the time to read the question, they will often answer it with, "I don't know" to get points in exchange for spending their time to read the question.

cost of a website can range from free to thousands a month.  Do you want IDX?  Do you want the ability to save a search?  Building your own content or paying for that too?  A good place to start is a point2agent site if you need something easy on the budget.

Over the years I've owned sites that coast me as little as $35. a month to $200. a month. None of them held a candle to the FREE site Google offers business. I am now retired as a RE Broker/Owner but I am active as the owner of Ward County Notary Services. Here is my FREE Google business site (and it accounts for far more business then I ever got from pay for sites).

There is always WIX and Manta for free sites too and I use those as well but I honestly can not say that I'm aware of gaining any business from them.

A moving experience!

I don't k.... uh...  I have no ide....  hmmmm....

Yeah... people post anonymous questions all the time, that can only be answered vaguely, and then set all sorts of conditions to the response.

Typically those anonymous questions are a "set up"... meaning asked by the very same person who has a real answer for the question... (such as an actual web design company).

Why do they do that??   I don't know. ;-)

There are good ones for $99 per month with many great things. Nothing will be at the same level as Z that I would pay for. You'd never get the SEO anyway.

I am waiting for RM to roll out their new site before I decide on which one I will go with.

14 pages and functionality similar to Zillow.  Are you kidding me!?

Zillow's massive IDX is what makes it rank and crank the way it does - that and the successfully deceptive branding and selling leads to real estate agents.

The cost of a website ranges - it is not one size fits all.

Hiring the right person to build it is the key.  I've made the mistake many times of hiring people that claimed to know what they were doing and they did not. Thousands of dollars down the drain!

You can't have a website like Zilow's or a real estate website with 14 pages.
Most real estate websites have thousands of pages because there's a unique page for each property in the MLS.

Of course, you don't have to create a page for each property - that's done via a database, etc.

If you want a custom website to display a low number of properties (entered manually), but in the way Zillow does, then the cost will be, most likely, in the thousands.

Time involved. That varies anywhere from $85-100/hr to $20/hr off shore. Most smaller business has switched to PI or India.   For realtors simple site may be a grand or more.

Always enjoy the questions that tell us what not to say...

Not sure what you mean by similar to Zillow, do you mean something with an IDX feed?  or something that can compete with Z for SEO?

Our placester sites with KW have been very good, however we are currently upgrading to something better.

Costs will vary from hundreds to several thousand dollars. Many factors go into a website that is custom made for you and the area you plan to serve. Don't even think about copying zillow even on a scaled downed version. I'd check and see who some of the top agents in your area are using, then see if any of them look similar to what you are looking for.
