No veterans in my family to celebrate with... we were immigrants to this country and all military service was in other countries. That being said thank you to your husband for his service... he survived a brutal war. I remember those days well as I lived in DC at that time.

My Dad served the Army in the Pacific in WWII. My wife's Dad served in the Navy in the Pacific. Two Uncles served in Europe. My wife lost an Uncle in Vietnam.

They are all gone now. I respect them and their memories and thank them for their service.
