Being "Global Warming" seems to want to have nothing to do with North Dakota I don't think I turned our heat off  this year. All year we have been several degrees below normal this 2019.

I'm in Tampa, just below the frost line. Heat stays off until January.

I remember visiting Russia (Minsk and Moscow) and being in these residential buildings. By the calendar, heat was turned on for the entire building.....no exceptions.

It can get cold in FL. You also re-acclimate when you move. When I was a kid my dad would always say, come live in FL with me. It is warm and never snows. That first year I lived with him, we got snow. In Orlando!
