I mail out greeting cards quarterly and they net referrals Barbara. I do Just Listed and Just Sold postcard as well.

My SOI does receive a piece of 'real' mail every single month, without fail. 

With over 95% repeat and referral business the last two years, yes, I've had great results!

No as my target is online users and bloggers. But, I have been investing in FB ads and finding it worth it.

In the past, I have included SOI as part of a direct mail effort for just listed/just sold in an area.  It is not something that occurred each and every month to be honest.  The reasons why someone lists and/or buys/sells vary so judging the accuracy of marketing can be difficult at times.

Many long years ago when I did direct mail I did include my SOI.  

Now I just send a light keep in touch every three weeks via email. I get great results from that and from sending birthday cards, home anniversary cards, and holiday cards. 

Today, no direct mail, therefore, no results 

I have not, generally save the postcards for marketing to people who are not yet in my soi.

I have/did not Barbara Todaro . In all sincerity I did not need to do much marketing as I was well tied into several builders and had more business then I had time to handle.

I struggle with whether or not I get a ROI on postcards but will never forget a listing appt in my neighborhood where she pulled out a postcard that she received years ago & saved it because she knew she'd need it someday.  :)

We haven't used postcards to SOI since we switched brokerages. Sometimes I feel like there was never a return on the investment, other times I feel like I should start it up again. My marketing feels a litle unfocused these past few months.

I don't... I touch my SOI at least twice a month by snail mail and email... add birthday cards, home anniversary cards, wedding anniversary cards, personal notes, and phone calls... post cards are not part of my touch process. 85+% of my business is repeat and referral, so I figure my current touch system works just fine.

I LOVE using post cards but really need a good program or some samples i could print myself. Printing costs are still high and i can do more if i could do myself. 

Probably not enough but what I do meets my expectations.

To not touch those critical to your business on a consistent basis is marketing malpractice.

However, this 'select' group does not get my real estate postcards.Real estate stuff goes to the 3rd ring and beyond.  Since this group is consistently in conversation or face-to-face this extra touch has a different purpose. That PURPOSE is to hear the say "That's a keeper."

The results are always good. But the issue is each may define 'good' differently.

I send a Christmas card every year including a personal note. I do email quarterly, but I started doing a bit more mail outs. I am still hoping for results. I am not sure which is the best postcard company out there, which one do you use?

I send marketing out every 2-3 months, and call/email in between.   I stay in touch with my clients, and they call me when they are ready to move.

Yes.

Yes for over 16/20 years consistently.

Yes, annual referrals come from my direct mail marketing.

 Not in a long time.  Email and phone is how I stay in touch today.

I always recommend your practices.

I do a short newsletter to SOI every 2 months. Mail to a few different farms every 3 weeks starting a week from now.

Always good results like you get.
