There is no limit on number but there is a limit to points for posts but that doesn't seem to matter for some posters who robo-post all sorts of things.  If something is not appropriate to this platform, it can be reported and that report is deemed valid, posts and posters are dismissed.  I typically read those I "follow"  to avoid much of the murkiness that exists here so I see posts from those who have passed my "rigorous" application process.

I realize that I "miss" some that way so I occasionally journey to the "other side" in search of something/somebody I may have missed.

If it were to vote on this I would vote yes.  However, we have learned from history that, for the most part, membership can have its privileges and with that comes annoyances.

As annoying as they are . . . and the lack of readership and attention . . . they are actually limiting themselves.

I just don't see how this can be helpful for them.

I agree with those who simply follow meaty authors and stick to them, and the occasional nugget found along the way!

You'd think so Brian. Not sure how it benefits them to blast the blog roll up to 150 times a day.

Shouuld there be a limit?  Not sure it really matters. To each his own.  I typically read and respond to those I am following on a regular basis.

As long as they get as many points after 10 posts as I get for answering questions, they do not do away with the following button and the scroll keeps working, what are you going to do!

I never pay attention to them.
I go direct to whom I follow and read from their sites. I never look at the “roll”.

Yep they are annoying but I just ignore and look for the people I follow. Seems to me the question of limiting was raised in the past and AR made the decision to not do so

This won't change, as they are not breaking any rules.  Annoying - YES!  Not sure why they do this, as I have heard it hurts their SEO.

Big YES.
It's very bad for the search engine rankings.
Having a ton of low quality and near duplicate content hurts a website a lot.

If AR wants to keep the posts unlimited, they could, at least, add the noindex tag after the first or second daily post. This way, the posts would exist, but would not be "seen" by search engines.

Home again, home again...

While I doubt that those robo-posts do the author any good, neither do I believe that limiting the blogger makes any sense for us.

Other than causing a little traffic jam on the blog-roll-landing-page for a few moments... their choice to post 50 posts in a row of all their communities doesn't impact me, nor any of you, at all.  So why should we care?

I'll keep my eyes on my own paper, and do my own thing.

YES there should be. I like 5 at most but no more than 10 a day for the robo bloggers. They mess up the blog roll for the rest of us, and do themselves no good, as no one will read them

Unfortunately, free posting platforms like this are soon filled with low quality and useless content by cheap SEO providers. See  here how many mortgage related articles are published every day. So yes, there should be a limit in the number of blog posts per peson but more importantly some kind of filter or reviewing before these posts get published.
