Yes, just received a text that governor wants all schools closed for 2 weeks in MT. 

Changes are happening.  Often times before anyone knows. . . 

Yes through March 27 AND possibly through the April vacation. Now he has ordered all restaurants to close and do only takeout or delivery. ALSO no groups larger than 25 for gatherings. 

Oh yeah. We are shut down here too. We are closed until at least April 3rd. I imagine many changes are in store since our mayor just went into self-quarantine.

Yes, colleges closed down last Thursday, public schools closed down Friday, for at least 3 weeks.

The colleges will be doing online classes for the rest of the semester, and all kids kicked out of the dorms and told to go home.

I suppose no one will have immunity to the disease once this madness is over and then we will get to start this entire process over again.

My question is - what about the non-documented flu episodes that we have every single year - those who survive a particular strain and those who don't? People don't get 'tested' for the flu and OVER half of them don't even go to the doctor. The flu is quite contageous as well. 

EVERY single REAL medical professional that I've spoken to - who don't have any agenda at all - have reassured me that this is no different than a single strain of a virus (A.K.A - THE FLU). Most get it and survive it and a small percentage acquire it and don't survive. 

Many school districts are closing for a number of weeks, as are some of the colleges. Sounds like they are all trying to implement online coursework for students. It's happening all around the country. And that all includes bars and similar facilities (restaurants must cut capacity in half and many are going to just take-out), sporting events and venues, amusement parks, and much more...and I suspect we are not done with the restrictions.

Library, courts, schools, large gatherings are all in the short run doing the same thing. However none of this can be sustained or tolerated for long. 

Schools here are closed until the end of the month as are colleges. Most of the colleges will be doing online classes but not sure about the schools yet. I know some parents who have enrolled their children in Florida Virtual School and some home school. It changes minute by minute here, no cases in my county yet so they are acting out of an abundance of caution and closing a lot of places...need to watch the news and see what was added to the list today.

Yes, things are being closed left and right and now our Californian Governor mandates that all of us 65 or older not leave the house.

yes, almost all schools closed. Finally in NYC until at least 4/20 and the Mayor indicated potentially rest of school year.  My county has more cases than NYC and most closed last week.  There may have still been a few open later in the week, but most parents kept their kids home.

Most everything is shut down and closed in my area. 

Santa Clara County is the hardest hit by the virus in the State of CA.

Schools are closed in our area. And, many other facilites are also closed.

Just yesterday they closed all NH schools for 3 weeks. 

2 weeks in NJ. Some people are calling for more.

But, to be clear, schools are not closed. Teachers are providing on line instruction and students are participating remotely. 

In our area, Spring break was starting this week and they extended school closures for another week. Technically, everyone should have already planned for students to be off this week and at least here, they are only missing one week of school for now.

You are not alone. Here in Illinois, with the exception of the primary election (and we know why), everything with the exception of banks, grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations are closed. No school until April!

Two weeks in Florida.  For most schools, one of those weeks is spring break, so I don't know if it really counts.  But we are closed an additional week beyond spring break.
