Most important I am there. SO many buyer agents and even some listing agents dont attend closings here which puzzles me. I also like to close out the sale with a nice closing gift. I LOVE the Personalized cutting boards. I also just ordered these Wine Labels for some clients to put together my own gifts

Gift cards. Generic...such as Visa or MasterCard. Specific...Home Depot or Lowes or Amazon. Restaurant gift cards to nice places to eat in their new town.

I appreciate that a client chooses me when there is no lack of alternative agents that could have been engaged.

I always attend the Closing, if at all possible!  My job's not done until the ink has dried. (of course, this has become past-tense because of the virus).  But I plan on attending again in the future ... and as always, have a thank-you gift in hand.

As an example: Employer/employee relationships are pretty much defined from the start in every category. Adding to it is subjective and far from mandatory or necessary. However a closing is a chance to market, public relate and leave someone a certain way. Perhaps they will word of mouth? It's up to you. Most people are glad they found a good agent...
