I've been spending time working on our land. Cleaning brush/tree limbs, getting rid of rocks, prepping the ground for seed. I've also been prospecting for clients. The first items make me sore (but hopefully stronger). I find being outdoors to be very stress-relieving.

The first couple of weeks were silent, I took time to experiment with couple of recipes. Now for the past 15 days or so have been busy non stop. I like it when it slows down a bit because it gives me time for the things I seldom get to do.

Although I am in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a beautiful oceanfront community, I hadn't gone to our beach in several months. Now I walk down to the edge of the ocean at the end of every day rain or shine. And see friends who are otherwise also sheltering in place. Very uplifing.  Chores? Not so much.

My garden looks great! lots of flowers and vegetables, editing a novel, handwrote many letters which I had forgotten how much I enjoy, calling older relatives who live East Coast, making meals for Mom which I drop off, still working full time at home but my commute from the ranch was an hour each way so saving time and money

So far we have: 

Cleaned and organized cubboards, storage room, working on the same for the garage, built a firepit to burn old files, Spring cleaned the yard, planted our garden, taken down a diseased tree in our yyard, did a garbage clean up of a local trail in our neighbourhood, called & or messaged passed clients to check in on them, updating my listing presentation, listed and sold several homes, came up with a basic plan for our new deck & pool to be built in a year or so & decided to have only vegetarian meals 3 days per week.

I watch my wife working hard around the house. I planted a 26X26 garden and it's pumping.  Little painting on the house. I been biking to the beach and enjoying a morning swim. I had to walk in with my windsurf gear but it was worth it.  I am also working, they keep saying the market is going to get going at some point.
