I have no use for that data or can afford the time it would take to analyze it. I'm pretty busy working with clients, so I'm guarding my time with income generating activities or time off with my family.

It depends on the psychographics of the marketplace.  We were on a conference with our videographer and our client.  Our videographer had great ideas of using all types of techniques, and we said, consider the psychographics...these particular people like things easy to use...they do not want to download stuff or do anything with their mouse...just watch...A

The survey could provide some usefull data, however consumer confidemce will by the key factor is someone will be ready to sell and buy another home. You cant meaure it until it happens. The mainstream media is doing everything possible to keep fear alive

No need here in Chicago. We are locked down and will continue to be locked down. Soon their will be nothing to open and then we will be allowed to do so. "Too Late" comes to mind!

Survey could work, but it would not work for me.

Glad you are getting some great results Annette. I would not consider doing a survey. Instead, I'd rather send a mailer offering something they can use right now with a promise that I am here, when and if they need me.

Getting responses and communicating to your database with meaningful questions and interactions is always benificial. I am very curious on how you plan on using that data? Will you follow up with real estate related information? If you determine they are sellers and/or buyers, what will be the call to action and how soon after getting the results?

Since my niche is different, I do not think this would benefit me.  Glad it is working for you.

I don't think so as it sounds very time consuming BUT it sounds like a good idea for a brokerage

      Hi, Annette.  I get countless surveys in my email, plus every time I shop online a pop-up appears.  Even when I visit the VA Health website, I am asked to complete a survey.  I just delete them. 

    So my question to you is, with respect, how do you get people to respond to your survey?

Your orderly & scientific approach to the study can only produce results. For those that want those "results" in their different categories, I recommend it

No. I'm speaking wtih my sphere and if they discuss COVID-19, I listen.

Otherwise, I am just checking in with them and focus on them and, of  course, I am armed with answers to their real estate questions...not COVID!

I do not believe such a survey would add any value to my niche business. 

Most surveys do not get a great deal of responses. People are bored now.
