The short URL was debunked years ago as it "goes bad" after a while. So I have only used the full URL in posts. So, I'm not sure if the posted links count too or just members and visitors? GREAT QUESTION. ActiveRain Member Support to clear it up I expect.

If I enable Short URL Views . . . which if it's a listing I usually do . . . I will get far more from FB if I boost the post, and less if I don't.
