I was just showing homes on the Moon in fact; unfortunately we discovered the cost of getting the inspectors and appraiser to the location was prohibitive, so they opted for La Jolla instead. Equally expensive, but more practical.

There have been habitat experiments of groups of people living in dome like structures for months/years at a time similar to living in the space station for months all preparing for shelters in place for the moon-base to come. We already have a space station which by the way is made of sections constructed by individual countries and can be added to as well like a giant ongoing puzzle or Lego pieces. At some point, a Mars-base will be constructed and then another space station and from there, we exit this solar system for other destinations. You and I and trillions of others will be far beyond worm-food...
