I see people who don't wear masks.  I see people who don't wear seat belts.  I see people who text and drive.  I see people who don't wear motorcycle helmets.

I can't dwell on other people's risky behavior.  I just try to avoid them so our paths don't cross.

There are always those who choose not to follow our statewide mandate to wear masks in pubic in the face of sharply escalating number of infections.

It appears that more people are wearing masks than in the past.

There are a lot more people out and about in recent weeks so it's hard to say. I see plenty without masks although not in the grocery stores and others business. The restrictions changed again recently regarding dining and such given our increasing numbers.

In the stores, yes for the most part, but banks, cashiers at grocery stores and restaurants now have Plexiglas dividers to protect them. Wearing a mask outside while walking/exercising in the heat of the summer or while driving alone cannot be good for you.

Will, it's crazy out there.  Texas gov. says "mask it or casket" while their Emergency mgt. official says wear masks at home while a group of their local sheriffs are challenging in court.  School children are being required to wear masks all while CDC reports decreasing cases.

Nope, everyone here is wearing a mask, haha.  Those without masks are few and far between.  I don't like wearing them and would prefer not to, but I wear them so that some "Karen" doesn't go off on me for not wearing one, haha.  When I am out and about these days it feels like I am now living in a third world country, haha.

Almost everyone here uses masks and that is one of the main reasons our numbers are still relatively low since our recovery.  People here see it as a sign of respect.

BTW, there are many areas in the country that now have higher rates than we did on our worst days in April.

I don't go out in public except for groceries and real estate appointments and in htose situations, everyone is masked, me too. I never wera a mask otherwise, but I SIP and I hike in remote areas. I see joggers with no masks.

Only on the beach, where they are not mandatory, because people are swimming, running, walking fast.  We do wear them wherever required.

I don't Will. We are required to wear them when going into a business. And I'm ok with that. They tried encouraging people to wear them for everyone's safety but so many people don't care it had to be mandated.

Outside, yes. Inside, only where required. It's a hot political potato. Thankfully the mortality rate is falling and is actually less than the 1957/'58 pandemic and the 1968/'69 pandemic...to date

All along, I'd say about 40-50% of people here wear masks when out and about. Some days it's more like 60-40%, and the other day it was more like 30-70%. Masks aren't mandated and we don't typically deal with crowds.

Actually, I am seeing more wearing masks in ALL environments.
In the First distancing phase, a lot of defiance was demonstrated. Now, I think many have come to terms with 'THIS IS LIFE FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS' and are responding accordingly.
however, when one is on the 6 mile run, a mask really leads to  a ride with the flashing lights.

People are pretty good in CT - indoors nearly all are wearing masks, especially in the larger stores e.g. supermarkets or Home Depot.  Don't see too many not wearing them; sometimes those who are running or hiking, but everyone moves far out of the way when passing. We in CT/NY/NJ learned the hard way; now people are careful to keep the virus away!

It could be 50/50. The thing is most wearing them are not wearing them right, they are touching them and have a simple fabrix that provides zero protection. The businesses that mandate see them wearing them. The popular thought is that those who are most in danger, should stay home and away from other people.

Almost everyone is wearing them.  It is very rare to see anyone in a crowd not wearing one.  Strangely, the numbers of infection are rising as rapidly as mask usage.  It must be a coincidence, but maybe they are giving users a false sense of security to do things (ie spend time less than 6 feet apart) when the protection level is not that high.
