No I have not signed up for it.

Now, if they actually offered a NO JUNK MAIL option.....that I could get into.

It is good to know the USPS keeps a image of all the mail coming to my house. it is scary to know how one with nefarious intent could use this for their purpose.
Send a few letters with 'PROUD BROTHERS' in the from block and let the fracas begin.

The USPS personell coming to my box keep placing my name on the door. I keep ripping it off. It seems the USPS is not privacy aware.

I did it for my home, and love it.  The downside is that, for some reason, I couldn't get it for my business location.  I'm assuming because my business has a Unit number attached as opposed to just the physical address.  Haven't reengaged with USPS to see if that is the issue or not.

Yes, I signed up for it about 5 years ago.

It has actually helped me report missing mail in the past to both my post office and the biller. Great way to audit your mail daily.

I like it. And unlike some of the commenters, I've always had great postal delivery - both in NY and here in MT.  If my postal carrier has to deliver something to my door, he does... (and my driveway is a 1/2 mile mountain road).. and he brings treats for Hercules. Gotta love it.

Hi Carol- I've had it for years and love it. That said, there are times when I won't get the notification until later in the day depending upon when my carrier delivers it. I don't have a long walk to my mailbox but it does help if the weather is bad. It also let me know when a package is left in one of the larger boxes.

Too many issues with USPS and all delivery services.  Mail and shipping companies are connected to neighborhood "watch" programs to ensure no privacy of deliveries. 

Many boxes arrive broken, tape falling off or loose enough to insert hand inside, gives appearance of tampering - shipper fault as well.
 
In recent years cartons arrive streaked/contaminated with black grime. too filthy to bring nto house. Boxes must be unpacked in garage and disposed of.  No way that crud is natural to manufacturer.  Even white Amazon padded envelopes are caked with black crud.  Smart dust anyone?

As for junk mail, postmaster advises it's job security for carrier to stuff all boxes whether or not house is occupied or receives mail elsewhere.
