Doesn't matter to me.  And people who haven't decided 2 weeks prior who they are voting for probably shouldn't be voting.

Well I agree about not voting before getting a chance to really  understand where candidates stand on certain imporant issues. One of them has flip flopped  around often.  And I'll leave it at that.

There are things that happen during the last few weeks that may make people change their minds.  I read that one of the most popular topics being googled right now is "how do I change my vote?"

It shows that people are engaged and ready to exercised their constitutional right to vote.

It may seem ridiculous to you but, very serious for others.

Yes, because their will be less people when I go to vote in person. I would think most people already know who they're voting for.

Do I like the fact that over sixty million people have already voted?

I am one of them.

I studied my ballot and made my choices on ALL candidates and issues...not just the first contest on the ballot.

I have known who I was going to vote for for quite a while. The candidates have been presenting their case for way too long. Another week won't make a difference for most people

So I think it's great to see that so many people are so anxious to put their vote in, that they've already done so. It's so much more encouraging than the years with low voter turnout.

Vote, people, vote!!!

Very few people have not already decided, would have to be deaf and blind to not see what each party and candidate stand for.

I am delighted to see the people out there voting.

LOL. I go to the polls on Election Day and that's how I like it. In this political climate, it's almost a necessity as quick as things are changing.

Yes

Considering a day only has 24 hours, it would be impossible for people in certain areas to vote within one day.

If the voting lines are hours long several days before Nov 3rd, just imagine if all the voting was happening in one day.

To be clear I will VOTE IN PERSON.
However 60 million early votes does not bother me at all. WHY?
Here are 6 reasons why:
1. 98% made up their mind months ago and nothing will change there mind.
2. A considerate person may understand in person voting is electing to catch a little covid and share it with the family.
3.Early voters are immune to the last minute lies both campaigns will launch before any fact checking or response can be made by the other camp.
4. Hey, the highest bid for my vote so far is $27. Early voters can not benefit from compelling candidates to put money where their mouth is.
Do I hear a 50?
5. This could simply mean these early voters are poll worker volunteers who must vote early. Yeah, I going with that.
6. "Present their case to the American People."  Has anything beneficial been heard on the campaign trail in the past 3 months? No. Voting early means one can choose to 'tune out' the cacophony of crazy talk shouted from all sides.

Both candidates have had plenty of time to present their cases to the people.  Trump has had four years.  Biden has an 8 year track record of being hidden away for months at a time after saying something stupid.  Harris has a long track record of destroying California.

This isn't an election of two very closely aligned people where you really need to examine the candidates closely, it's an election of polar opposites.

Most people I know have made up their mind months and even years ago.  Mine was made up long ago.

Image for some of us the candidates have already presented their case by who they are, what they have said, and what they have done. So, why wait?

It matters to me who people vote for - not when they vote.

I think every eligible voter should vote. For too long only people that feel they will benefit from one candidate or the other have expressed their opinion. It is nearly impossible for all eligible voters to vote in person on election day. I have been an election judge and have seen how difficult it is to run an election in a 12 hour period.

I just wish the candidates were held to a higher standard so we could vote with intelligence not emotion.

I'm in the opposite camp - I vote on policy, not person.

Frankly, where the presidency is concerned, I'm not fond of either 'person' but, favor policy of one over the other - significantly!

I think it is most important for voters to not just vote because they dont like someone because the media tells them that. With all the new facts coming out, the vote for many needs to be to save our great country. Stave off socilaism. Keep the massive tax increases that are promised away and keep the market from crashing.

Let's put it this way...now a leading trend search on google is "Can I change my vote?" Personally, I think early voting is not a good thing except when there is a valid reason for not being at the polls to vote. That is where the absentee ballot is useful.

Not a fan of the early voting as allowed. At this rate, early voting for the mid-terms should begin in June of 2021 before many candidates announce.

I find it quite foolish and disgusting,  Anything could happen prior to your election day.  But then again, I find the length of time it is given to campaign and the obscene amount of money that is spent on it, is absolutely ridiculous.
