I have had that happen ... more than once.  That is why now I copy and paste the HTML code into a notepad txt document and save it on my device. That way, IF the post goes POOF ... I have it saved.  There are many extra steps I take with working/playing on this site. Overtime It taught me that I cannot trust it

Hi Lise... there were issues in the Rain yesterday. They seem to have resolved but now it sounds as if there are new ones. Someone else just posted a question about the disappearing post. Sorry that happened to you. It's happened to me in the past and it's more than a little annoying and frustrating.

Hi Lise- not sure what to suggest.  I write my posts in Google Docs, then C&P them into the AR Editor. If it disappears, I can grab it again.

I typically have problems with photos that are posted as I make up the post subsequently disappearing from the final product. I have to take the extra time to repost the photos.

Formatting also comes out weird after the "saved" post looks good and the "published" post is different.

I just posted no problems using Google Chrome as my browser to post. It may be a browser issue. Always create your post in Word or the like first in case you need to re-post.

No or not yet.  I created my blog on word and the copy and paste here.  Even then often I have to convert my blog into notepad so the character in AR is "clean".  Thanks for the warning.

been in your shoes and it totally stinks.  I try to "save" during the process when I write a post here, but rarely do I actually write them here anymore.  I have it written, I copy, paste, strip the code, recode and add photos.  That way if it does go poof at least my original copy is safe somewhere else.
