I would imagine so, everybody wanting to get the hell out of oppressive states and get back to simpler living. Friends from LA moved to Tennessee and love it!

The downtown Chicago condo market is not topping anything but it is making a comeback as inventory dwindles below two years and activity grows.

Our buyers do not care what is happening in Tennessee, Florida or Texas. Our sellers...maybe do care because they are moving somewhere.

In any event, the San Francisco Bay Area market is vibrant and fast moving. Attractive, well priced properties sell in a week.

I agree, many are fleeing the high tax States for the southern hospitality and States that aren't as hard on your wallet.

Everybody's area is leading the pack depending on what day it is! I really don't care except for my region.

We've got so many California folks moving the the Phoenix area plus all the regulars going on.  It's a hot market but cooking down outside.  Yipee Skippy!

That is what we hear also.  According to the news, everyone is fleeing our state...LOL A

I can't imagine any market doing better than our lake property in short days on the market and price increases by %, and frankly we're seeing people leave metro areas constantly for the lake life.

Atlanta Ga is super hot right now but yes Florida and Texas are crazy!

I don't know anywhere in my state that has a bad market or even a stable market.  GA is a hot bed of hot markets for sellers right now.

I'm seeing a plateau in the southern part of Silicon Valley.  nearby areas are still hot, but DOM is lengthening, more price drops, and Sales Price vs. List Price is narrowing downward to 100% or below on average.
