A free Rainer account enables you interact on the site and post members only posts. 

A Rainmaker is a paid subscription account that enables your posts to be visible to to all site visitors (i.e. prospective real estate clients) and also to be indexed for SEO purposes to be found by Google and the likes.
Ambassadors are members of the site with plenty of experience on ActiveRain and make themselves available to help other members get their questions answered ;)
Points on ActiveRain help as an incentive to do more on the site. The more you do the more points you get. As you climb in points, it is partly an indicator of achievement and incentive to keep being active. As you grow with points, you can also climb the leaderboard for your particular area (example) and gain more visibility on certain localism pages (example). AR also awards the 500,000 points and higher members with no more subscription fee.

Rainmaker: This means a paid account or an account that no longer pays because they reached 500,000 points or were otherwise grandfathered in many long years ago. 

Ambassador: We act as representatives of the community and serve the community in a multitude of ways. 

The Beloved Points: Points represent, among other things, the level of activity. Points are earned in a variety of ways.  The crown jewel, as mentioned above, once a paying AR member reaches 500,000 points, their account becomes Free. 

Ambassadors are people who are, or were, very very active on "ActiveRain", and quite helpful to wonderful "newbies". 

We received personal phone calls from the Powers-That-Be, offering us the Title.  I was called by Bob Stewart, and then by Kerrie.  It was, and is, a great honor!
