Hi Will, just curious...did she say why she wants to go out? Was that their tradition? I would go out to dinner (just this one time) and pick up the check to accommodate her wishes. That said, are there any good restaurants near you that are open on Easter Sunday? Here on the beach almost all are closed and the hotels have limited buffet so maybe research that and if there are no good restaurants open, you can make dinner at home.

Nothing like being between a rock and a hard place Will. If your wife is okay with going out then go out this year. It might be hard for her being in your home for a holiday family dinner if you did holiday dinners with them before his passing. Look at it this way no fuss no muss. Whatever you decide have a Happy Easter!
