I was working in the field meeting with contractors sweating my buns off in the hot sun.

Sorry.  Didn't get the memo.  Lived 26 years of my life in Hawaii, I've sat under many a palm tree, often with a Mai Tai. Carmel Beach is absolutely beautiful, but there's no palm tree in sight and no one to hand me that Mai Tai.  So I take walks  on Scenic Drive and watch magical sunsets instead.
