We can see in all of Canada except Quebec who opted out. 

My MLS covers two states and dozens of counties in North and South Carolina. While it's "nice," I don't sell much further than 60 miles around the Charlotte area. Not sure what being able to search in areas outside my expertise and practice does for me. What I can forsee is my MLS fees going up for the "extra" service that probably would do nothing for my bottom line.

I echo John Juarez comment.  I have no need or desire for a global MLS feature nor would I support it or be required to pay for additional services I do not need.

I would not be interested in adding a global feature to our mls. We can see the counties around the Bay Area and more if we want to. 

Technology always gets my attention as breakthroughs and marvels await

Ours is limited to it's own area Inna Ivchenko . I no longer have access to it so I have to look to the big sites to get that info.

I'm at the intersection of 3 states and 4 counties, so there will be NV and CA listings in our MLS . . . my service area is very small by choice and so I don't think a global MLS would be beneficial to me as a general rule . . . 

Retirement has benefits. I don't have to search for properties any longer.

It's great to have your listed herded into one big real estate cookie jar MLS. But your property listings and your local area blog posts should be already coming up in searches. Lots of out of country buyers reach out and watch real estate videos so being here to actually walk around and through the property is no longer a delay Inna Ivchenko .  Real estate is fixed based, but your delivery of what you list and market does not have to be. Deliver and open up your local market on the World Wide Web.

Hmm, I have not been able to do that through my MLS login but I think it would be nice to be able to do so.

Our MLS is affiliated with 13  other MLS partners and basically covers Northern Indiana except for Lake County (basically an extension of Chicago).  It also includes much of Southcentral and Southwest Indiana.

The major disadvantage it does not include the Indianapolis area MLS.

At this time we are not global, and would not support the idea as it would certainly lead to fee increases.  

I have no interest in looking at foreign property except maybe Canada. Did not know that would be available to us. Goes to say "that you should stay within your own wheelhouse".

I can get access to other MLSs within my state (CA).  I'm not sure this is such a good idea, because how does one enforce the rules, as each MLS has its own set of rules, based on NAR's model rules.  

I only need to see GA listings, I'm only licensed in GA.  Global seems dumb to me for the MLS  All systems aren't compatible 

My local Board covers 5 counties in southeast FL.  This is where zillow has it covered vs. small thinking MLS assn who nickel and dime you for access. Global I would cultivate relationships with CIPS agents or join related groups to connect to whatever country you need.

That is interesting.  We can search statewide and we have realtor dot com's backend that we can search as well for national.  I think it's called "Find".  Nothing international though.

Personally, I've only used the out of state search once.  Can't see any reason for international other than curiosity.  Was curious about some homes while on vacation, I just went to the web and searched the address.

RE/MAX sell internationally.
