Many.

Over the years we have perfected the art of working on the road and seem to have collected rooms full of tools and gadgets to keep us productive nearly anywhere.

Are you looking for a pocket sized battery pack or something that larger that will power all of your devices.

When we are out in the woods we use several Jackery power stations that recharge while we are out in the woods with solar panels on the roof of one of our vans.

However at a convention if you have a phone with a bad battery I would suggest a good quality, light weight pocket size battery pack.

Here is an article with a few suggestions.

I have two, a large and small size, in case we are without power due to a Tropical Storm or hurricane.

For a vacation or convention, I just take my power cords for the iPhone, iPad and laptop and charge as needed. I have several, keep one in the briefcase, one in my purse and one in the car.

I don't know if my portable chargers work with S22, have iPhone, but I think they are supposed to be universal. I will look up the brand name and info later.

PORTABLE: Clutch - I love how small this one is.

I had a Mophie for years and totally understand about the weight of it!

Enjoy your vacation.

You have to purchase a unit that is rated by how long it takes to charge. I use a TG90 and while shopping, I learned about all the differences out there, the lingo and price points as well. Interesting as if I plug the unit to be charged into an electrical socket with an adapter, it charges quicker. Furthermore, it also has to do with the unit receiving the charge too as you pointed out yours is older. Tech comes up with breakthroughs & milestones every 3-5 years. After that, it almost becomes mandatory to bring oneself current. Remember, whatever you purchase today, will at some point, be replaced by better, faster & cheaper at some point & time.

Yes, I do. Actually never heard of a Mophie. Don't know if I have anything special but I've got a Galaxy S22 and it seems to charge fine on whatever portables I have. When I travel I also charge my phone from my computer. When I'm overseas I have an adapter for the electrical outlet and charge that way, as well.

Yes, and I've also remember to take a power strip outlet because most hotel rooms don't seem to have enough outlets to charge phone, iPod, camera and plug into my laptop.  But, I always keep this solar powered batt ry backup on my dashboard, which keeps recharging when I'm out and about and my car is out of the garage.    https://www.hdaccessory.com/products/solar-10000mah-qi-wireless-charger-power-bank-battery-pack-orange.html

I do, it's about 8 years old and still works great.  I charge it about once a month and keep it in my truck... just in case I need it. It is pretty heavy when fully charged, it cost a ton, but it works great.  Currently unless there was some type of power outage I wouldn't need it as my phone will hold a charge all day with full use (it's fairly new).

I don't know why you'd bother. I would think your S22 would do substantially for all day. If not, I'd see your provider.

I used to just carry the appropriate power cords and power adapters.  Usually, you can find a plug somewhere.

Recently, though, at the Florida REaltors convention, the MLS gave us solar power chargers.  The solar component is not very good.  But you can plug it in as well.  I have started carrying that arround.

I would research a pocket sized battery pack in case you battery runs low. Good luck and take many photos!

I have an iWalk (Amazon) that I think you can also get for your phone. They're the size of a large lipstick.  If I were going to be out all day, I also have a larger charger that still is not too heavy for my purse.

If you take your own charging cables, use caution using the built-in USB ports that could take info off of your phone. It's better to use your own charger and cable.

Joan Cox when you decide which one to purchase make sure it can be taken on the plane with you. Some you may not be allowed to packed in your check in bags. Have fun in Portugal

I have a charging block that is several years old.  Still works great and will charge two devices several times.  It's lives in my car except when we fly and when we're expecting bad weather then we charge it up and take with us or have in the house.  It once lasted 3 days and 6 full phone charges when we had an extended power outage after a hurricane that sparred local tornado that had my street without power for 4 days.

Try Anker- formed by a group of former Google staff. I always have a charger with me at all times. Since we walk, take subways, buses, uber's, etc- we have to have everything with us since we don't have a personal car as a mobile office. Even if I don't need it- I carry a charger along with different connector cables in case a client needs a charge.

Joan Cox,

I do have a power bank that stays charged, if I do go on a long trip, I take it with me. The name is HUAFU, my son bought it for me, it is 24000mAh, it lasts for about 5 full charges.
