I just checked your notifications, and while there are some duplicates (we have had some issues with duplicates).. there are no triplicates at all.

No for some reason I get duplicates when they cme in, but they reduce to one after the new duplicates comes in. It has been happening for a few years.

I get all notifications in duplicate also, and have for quite some time.  There is also a "like" that comes in most times, which SEEMS like a triplicate, but is different.

Not all of them - if they commented, I receive 2 notifications; if they also like it, a 3rd notice lets me know they liked it. I just checked my notifications and I had 3 from Dorie - 1 comment X2 and 1 like! It's been this way for a while. Not sure why this is still pending correction but, we can certainly ask.

I've been receiving 'duplicates' on & off (more on, than off) for quite a while.  If you find all of those notifications are bugging the heck out of you, I think there' a way to turn the notifications off... (although I'll be damned if I can figure out where to find that).

just checked and I had one duplicate, but just the one and like AMRS said, it's likely that person edited their comment.  Sometimes just as I hit the enter button I see a typo that didn't show in red because it's "a" word, just not "the" word I meant to type.  I generally edit.  and just for testings....   .... I went back and edited this post to add this part to see if you get a duplicate notification.  Did you?
