The party in power does not, but the policies put forth by said party figure head does.  It's a choice between bringing jobs back from overseas, beefing up our economy, and prioritizing American citizens... or it's more freebies and endless printing of money to support foreign wars started by the people who control the so-called banks that print the money and charge the interest.

NO as to who is running etc. All anyone (layman) who are buying is to BUY & to refi when they can for a better rate but do not STOP your buying dream if you got it up & running. 

Of course it will Tony Lewis . North Dakota is a large energy producing State. Thousands of jobs depend on oil, natural gas, and coal. How do you think we vote here. A hint, it won't be for the party pushing solar.

I am not sure as to how it affects the real estate market. I do know that it affects the price of consumer goods.

Yes. But if half your country thinks all is well, the other half chomping at the bit for chang5e, that division robs productivity. If 80% of the US citizens were on the same page about the issues and only 20% were to the left and right, what we could accomplish.

   There will be no "Real Estate Market" under Socialism.

Not at all at the outset, but future policies may affect employment, interest rates and other areas of the economy and that eventually may have an impact on real estate. 

Absolutely. Responsive competent leadership is needed for the best results in the real estate market. Acute housing supply issues, however, are local problems that also need much attention.
