I usually go all out with Christmas decorations, inside and out for our client appreciation party, but this year we decided to switch things up by moving our Gratitude Gathering Party to an offsite location. As a result, we kept things simple—no exterior decorations other than our signature wreath on the front gate, and light decor inside. With part of December spent away this year and the month feeling so short (as you mentioned), it just didn’t feel worth the effort for only 2.5 weeks of enjoyment.

We have some white and red lights up on the palm tree trunks in front a wreath with lights on the front door, and we are just getting started with some light interior decorating.

Went out and bought the Christmas tree yesterday with a Black Friday discount. We won't have any company this Christmas (we're heading to LA to spend time with the grandkids on the big day) so we're keeping things fairly simple.

Now that Christmas is celebrated at my daughter's house I don't go all out.  I do have a tree.  I will put it up this weekend.  I'm going out of town this week and didn't bother last weekend.

I put my wreath on the door and found my leftover Christmas cards. That's it so far!

I do not do that much decorating - but do put a Christmas tree. We'll cut it down a week or so before the holiday.

We've had the decorations up a week or two now. Outside is not done, but I really need to trim the landscaping before the lights go on those. I have watched a movie or two already.

None up yet. We do limit our decorations.

I don't decorate as much as I used to but I still love my decorations..tree, nutcrackers, big Santas, etc. 

I have not put up tree the last 2 years since I got Moxie . . . this year the space the tree would normally go in, I have a new 8-plant stand with grow lights. That's its permanent home, and I love it! LOL
I'll figure out the tree when the spirit moves me next! This was never a good spot, blocking my Erte!

All my decorations are up... but not red, white and green...  mostly silver and gold. This year I've put up only one tree as I'm still recovering from two hip replacements, but hope to be back to my three trees next year.

No Christmas movies for me... I don't like them.

My wife just finished taking down the Autumn/Thanksgiving decor over the weekend.

I got the lights up on the house and the Christmas figures out and up on the front lawn.

Next, I have to bring in our fake Balsam Hill tree and set it up. Then comes the tree decorations and indoor Christmas decor.

Christmas cards went into the mail today.

No decor, going to AZ for the Holiday.    

Love all holiday decorations! 

In years past we did so many things in the lawn and lots of lights on the house but have cut back last year.

I typically do not decorate.  Not worth the time and effort to me.

My husband does all the decorations, he goes all out. All done just before Thanksgiving, nothing different this year🎄

We go all out on the interior and are still promoting Thanksgiving on the exterior (yup! I'm in charge of the inside.  LOL!).  Watched 2 movies on Saturday so all is moving ahead as it should.... 

The wife went nuts and our interior was fully decorated before Thanksgiving. After all was done, she told be we were going back to our normal routine of decorating the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Either way I just get the boxes. 

It may be just my husband and me this year (😦). If so, we will keep it small.

We have been so busy, we have not watched a Christmas movie yet but, fully expect to in the next week or two, Peter! My trees are up inside and out. Here are a few...

We have quite a bit up already......but we kind of go over the top so to some it may appear over the top to the max.  But....we're scaling back this year LOL! No, seriously, we really are!  The main thing is to have fun and enjoy the process of decorating!

I used to stape the lights to the house until falling off the ladder.  Since then the joy seems to have disappeared away from that glorious feeling.

Advent started this past weekend, the candles are on the dining room table.

As for Christmas, that does not START until the 25th, will wait until then to do the Christmas decorating.
