As for QR codes, I am still "wait and see".  Yes, more companies are embracing the QR code, but I don't think that a significant majority of the Public is scanning or using the QR code.

1. Cell phone for calls & text

2. Email

4. The code? Subjective

Let me just say that people need to answer the contact immediately. That's what gives results! On Business cards? Same principle as an elevator speech or a billboard advertising. Make the vital point! The fancy, hype etc., comes later if it comes at all. NOTE: if you cannot explain what you or your business card says in 1-2 seconds, you have some work to do.

I am not a fan of PRC codes.  My card focuses on large font phone number. Most folks google you to find out more.

I’ll take whatever my brokerage wants me to have. It works well enough for me. It has the name, title, phone, and email. I can’t recall if the web address is on it.

Cards are not the reason for the spam calls/emails and are typically given to warm/hot contacts.  I want the person I'm giving my card to to have the easiest time contacting me.  Phone, email, URL and of course name, company and license number.

If I look at a card and there's a code on it, I'm not going to scan it to get a number.  That takes too many steps.

App overload has made QR codes more popular. People use them to join wifi, make a payment, schedule an appointment or view real time listing data, etc. Scan QR code for "all homes in Timbuktu under 200K". Nothing to search or type and bang, you're in, studying floor plans, touring with a video, all kinds of maps, quick facts, the works.

You are not going to reduce spam by phone or email by shifting to QR code. Sequential phone apps will find us all; emails are online to clean everywhere you market Ken Jones

Business card kept simple and not cluttered. Logo, phone office cell, address, email, sure, QR code why not. But tag line, slogan... you want to stand out from the crowd.

It seems that #3 is the overwhelming choice of this group.

As for me, I'm probably older than most others in the group.

And, with being "older" comes the (inaccurate) perception that you're not tech savvy.

So, since I deal with people who are about 1/2 my age, for no other reason than for marketing purposes to show that I'm still "with it," I have included a QR code on my business card which links to my website.

Good question. I'm getting ready to redo my business card since I changed offices. I will probably do all normal info and add a QR code to search for homes. Just need to figure that out.

Keep It Simple was the most effective for me Ken Jones . The State of ND required Brokerage information on all advertising. Aside from that my name and my phone number as large as possible. The less clutter the better and for heaven's sake do not put a crapload of initials that clients have no clue what they mean.

My state requires the brokerage so #4 email and phone website and brokerage, someone should not have to QR code to get info that should be present on the card in front of them. having them have to jump through any additional hoops to get the basic info just does not make sense IMHO.
