I am not fluent in honey bee language.  I have learned to recognize the sound of an angry bee (I would suggest getting some distance away quickly!), and I know what a hive sounds like under normal conditions when we are inspecting, and the change in sound as they are disturbed or agitated.But experts will tell you there is a lot more language being used by the bees than I understand.  When a bee finds a good food source, it can tell the other girls in the hive which direction and how far to fly!  The hive needs a new home?  Scouts go out and find a suitable spot and come back and report on their findings.  Wiggles, waggles, wing movement, flight patterns and other visual cues communicate the information for other bees to act on.Within the ActiveRain community, many members have areas of... 01/21/2025

Roughly a week ago, I started to received an accelerated amount of spam phone calls to my cell phone, sometimes 15-20 per day. My cell number must be getting sold over and over since the spam calls are coming from many different states and different numbers in repeat states. There are even calls that are off by one number from my cell number. Many times these calls come around dinner time or sometimes when I happen to leave my phone in another room and then I have to quickly get to the phone, just in case it is an important call and not spam.In our line of work we rely on working with new people so answering a phone call is important for new business.
