Buyers, you need to see Lise Howe blog on this suggest, it is so true. The relationship with a real estate agent goes beyond just expertise; it’s about trust, communication, and feeling comfortable with the person who will be guiding you through one of life’s biggest financial transactions. A good agent will not only have market knowledge and negotiation skills but also an understanding of your unique goals and preferences.  You need to feel that your real estate agent cares about you - and not just the completion of the transaction and the resulting commission.  Choosing the right real estate agent is crucial when buying or selling property. Your agent can be the difference between a smooth, successful transaction and a stressful, costly experience. Even if an agent comes highly recomm...

Looking to buy a home but feeling like almost everything is out of reach? Here’s the thing. There’s still a way to become a homeowner, even when affordability seems like a huge roadblock – and it might be with a fixer upper. Let’s dive into why buying a fixer upper could be your ticket to homeownership and how you can make it work. What Is a Fixer Upper?A fixer upper is a home that’s in livable condition but needs some work. The amount of work varies by home – some may need cosmetic updates like wallpaper removal and new flooring, while others might require more extensive repairs like replacing a roof or updating plumbing.Because they need some elbow grease, these homes typically have a lower price point, based on local market value. In fact, a survey from StorageCafe explains that fixer...

No Regerts. Before sending out a feedback request using speak to text, luckily I proofread it because what I meant to say was, "Please thank your clients for showing the property." Instead it replaced the word clients with clowns! Can you imagine what the receiver would have thought had I not caught that?! Communications, whether sent through text messages or emails, must be correct and to the point to avoid any misunderstandings. Otherwise, they might be one unintentional word, letter or comma away from disaster! Am naturally a spell checker and it pains me to make a mistake! And yes, it does happen. Also, incorrect punctuation can easily get a reader's attention, as in the case of the phrase, "Let's eat, grandma!" Without the well-placed comma, it says, "Let's eat grandma!" No one wan...

Tomorrow is the 2024 Presidential, Senate, Congress, state, county and city election day. This election has for many been unkind even though some candidates have campaigned on the theme of “joy” which appeared to be somewhat lacking.I came across this quote by Albert Schweitzer and I had never heard or read it before."As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust and hostility to evaporate."Even though I have attempted to be emotionally intelligent in my responses both in person and online, I must admit sometimes my comments appear to be unkind. As I am a very high “D” problem solver and a much lower “I” people person, a low “S” fast pace person and a high “C” process person, I must continue to check myself.Kindness does not even require words as noted by William...

Today, I just want to take a moment to say how thankful I am for my wife. There is absolutely no way I would be the man I am today without her. She’s been by my side, supporting me, challenging me, and loving me in ways that only she can.My wife has this incredible tenacity and fire that pushes me to be a better man. She never settles for “good enough” when she knows there’s more potential within me, and even though I don’t always agree or like what I hear, I know it’s what I need to hear. She has a way of seeing the best in me, even when I can’t see it in myself. Her love isn’t just about comfort or easy days—it’s about making each other stronger, learning together, and sometimes, yes, disagreeing to find the right path forward. She believes in me, probably more than I believe in myself...
