Devonian Gardens is undergoing a major upgrade nowadays by the City of Calgary. This popular attraction, located in the fourth floor of TD square in downtown Calgary, is one of the largest indoor parks in the world. The Gardens that were closed in 2008 are scheduled to reopen to public this summer 2012. Calgarians and tourists will again be able to visit it for free and enjoy the large and small trees that were brought from Florida and Hawaii, in addition to the new ponds with the Koi fish. Kids will have their own play areas, but they will not be able to see any turtles in the Gardens! The City of Calgary announced they are not allowed there any more as they can bite and carry disease.
