Calgary real estate market, fueled by a combination of favorable factors, continues to show an increase in sales activity by the end of the third quarter of 2012, despite a steady decline in the number of new listings entering the market. According to the latest regional housing market report released by CREB, Calgary real estate benefited in 2012 from the improving consumers' confidence in the region, thanks to the province's strong economic growth and the increase in full time employment rates, that were "far outpacing national averages."
