Here is a great shot of a small airplane flying over the mountains in Alaska.I have been thinking after I retire in the next 3 - 4 years I might get a pilots license and buy a small airplane like this. My wife flew in a small plane like this from Anchorage to Homer several months ago. Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz arrived in beautiful Alaska several days ago, and wow how nice it is to be back.I will be spending over one week in Anchorage, Soldotna, Homer, Palmer, Wasilla and other wonderfully beautiful places. I have been taking many new photographs and this is just one of them. It is very difficult for me to load large numbers of photos on the AR network so if you follow me at FaceBook you will see more.I did not bring a laptop computer so this is it folks until I get back to the Lower 48, then I will be loading many more. On Christmas Day, we plan to go to Anchorage for business and a 2 week winter experience. The  is Dec 26 through Jan 7th.  According to Active Rain membership data, there are around 750 Active Rainers in Alaska.  Surely, there are enough for a meet-up!Did you have a great Thanksgiving?
