Athens Alabama Storytelling FestivalBy: Kimberly Grant, Huntsville Real Estate AgentHuntsville/Madison AL Real Estate BlogHave you heard about the Athens Storytelling Festival??  Well, if not, I'm here to let you know!  When I heard about this I thought what a great event.  It will be held on the Marion Street side of the Limestone County Courthouse.  The Festival will be October 26 and 27 from 10 am to 10 pm.  There will be lunch and dinner breaks during the day.  Tickets for the festival are $20 per day or $30 for the entire event.Also, after the festival is over on October 26th, there will be ghost stories told in Big Springs Memorial Park!!  WOO...might be too scary for me!  Tickets for the Friday night ghost stories are $5 each.You can get tickets from Pablo's or Limestone County C...

President Bush's Visit to Huntsville and AthensSubmitted by: Kimberly Grant, Huntsville Real Estate Agent Huntsville Real Estate BlogIf you were anywhere around I-565 or Hwy 31, surely you could not have missed the parade.  But for those that had no idea what was going on in our city, I'm here to let you in on the happenings.  President Bush and his 24 vehicle motorcade stole the show in Huntsville, Alabama!!  As many of you know, President Bush was in the Huntsville area to visit the Brownsferry Nuclear Plant.  The visit even changed the birthday travel plans of Huntsville Mayor Loretta Spencer, who stayed in town to be on hand to welcome President Bush to our area.  Employees of the nuclear plant got a proverbial "pat on the back" from President Bush for all their hard work in the pla...
